F.A.Q's
Do I have to provide Quantum Only with a "brief" to get the job done (I don't have time to prepare a brief)?
Not at all. There are a number of ways QO can get the job done for you, namely:
a) you can share the files via our secure encrypted link;
b) deliver a hard copy of the file to us; or
c) send an email with the files attached.
I'm obviously concerned about confidentiality and privacy, what protections do you provide?
Due to the nature of the material we are reviewing and you are sharing, we have protections in place with our cloud storage and provide appropriate warranties in our terms of engagement ( www.toe/qo.com.au ).
How long will it take for QO to prepare the assessment of damages?
The majority of Quantum Assessments will be completed by us within 72 hours of receipt of materials from you. Imagine that in 3 days time you can have your clients claim brought back to life.
But who are you QO?
The team at QO is made up of solicitors and a consultant barrister who have decades of experience in insurance claims acting for plaintiffs and in-house with insurers. This unique experience gives us a healthy respect for the plaintiff lawyers bottom line and the insurers need to satisfy internal process and procedure. Our quantum assessments give your client a range to consider and provides a path for you to follow to resolve the claim.
Is your fee considered a "disbursement" on the file or a contract for service?
Our engagement by you and the invoice produced by QO is on a contract for service basis. Think of QO as a temporary staff member who works remotely. Our invoices will include sufficient detail in relation to tasks performed and time spent in order to allow you to reflect your usual charge out rate and charge our work as part of your professional fees on the final invoice.
If you have another question that has not been covered off above please feel free to contact us. But do it quick. We want to turn your WIP into cash.
